Tamdhu Single Cask #1593 – The Distillery Manager’s Choice is an exceptionally limited Speyside single malt personally selected by Tamdhu Distillery Manager Sandy McIntyre. Distilled in 2014, this individual cask stood out for its richness, structure and distinctive expression of Tamdhu’s renowned sherry-matured character.

Matured in a first-fill European oak sherry hogshead, Cask #1593 combines Tamdhu’s fruit-led spirit with the depth, spice and structure of European oak. Bottled at a powerful 58% ABV, it is presented unchillfiltered and at natural colour, preserving the whisky as faithfully as possible to the character of the original cask.

With just 200 individually numbered bottles available, this is a particularly scarce Tamdhu release, made all the more distinctive by its personal selection from the distillery manager.
