Ruadh Maor is the name given to the peated spirit distilled at Glenturret, offering a smokier take on the historic Highland distillery’s character. This 2012 vintage was bottled by independent bottler Càrn Mòr as part of its Strictly Limited range.
Matured for eight years in a refill sherry hogshead, the whisky balances earthy peat smoke with subtle sherried depth. Bottled in 2021, the outturn totalled 2,243 bottles, making it a limited release that showcases both distillery character and careful cask selection.
A distinctive Highland peated malt with gentle sherry influence and approachable smoky complexity.
