The North British 58 Year Old Incorporation Edition is a landmark release in Scotch whisky history and the first-ever commercial bottling from The North British Distillery Company. Distilled in July 1960 and bottled in 2018, this extraordinary Lowland single grain whisky spent an incredible 58 years maturing in a single hogshead, making it one of the oldest expressions ever released by the distillery.
Created in partnership with renowned independent bottler Douglas Laing & Co, this special edition was released to commemorate the incorporation of the North British Distillery on 24th October 1885. The result is a whisky of remarkable rarity, maturity, and historical significance.
Drawn from a single hogshead and bottled at its natural cask strength of 51.6% ABV, the whisky showcases the elegance and complexity that only decades of patient ageing can achieve. Rich layers of oak, vanilla, honeyed sweetness, and mature grain character combine to create an exceptionally refined and memorable dram.
Presented in a beautifully crafted handmade oak casket, complete with an accompanying booklet and miniature tasting bottle, this release was designed to be as special as the whisky itself.
With just 222 bottles produced worldwide, this is an exceptionally rare collector's item and one of the most significant North British releases ever bottled.
