Macallan Quest

The Macallan Quest is an elegant Speyside single malt originally created exclusively for the Travel Retail market as part of The Macallan’s Quest Collection. Introduced alongside Lumina, Terra and Enigma, the range explored the distillery’s extensive search for exceptional oak casks from around the world.

Quest brings together whisky matured in a carefully selected combination of European and American oak sherry-seasoned casks and hogsheads, alongside American oak bourbon casks. This varied maturation creates a smooth and approachable Macallan, balancing orchard and citrus fruits with vanilla sweetness, gentle spice and polished oak.

Released as the entry point to the Quest Collection, this expression offers a lighter and more accessible interpretation of The Macallan style while retaining the distillery’s strong emphasis on exceptional oak and cask selection.
