Matured predominantly in sherry-seasoned oak casks, AERA showcases the rich and approachable character for which The Macallan is renowned. Its natural golden colour reflects the influence of the carefully selected casks, which impart layers of fruit, sweetness, and gentle spice.

The nose is beautifully balanced, offering aromas of vanilla, dried fruits, and bright citrus notes. On the palate, flavours of chocolate, honey, and rich dried fruits unfold alongside bursts of sweet citrus, creating a smooth and elegant drinking experience. The finish is warm, lingering, and softly sweet, with delicate hints of vanilla remaining long after the last sip.
