Longmorn 2011 14 Year Old Cask#263 - Berry Bros. & Rudd

This exceptional Longmorn 14 Year Old was selected for Berry Bros. & Rudd's Odyssey Range: The Auld & The Bold, a series dedicated to remarkable single cask whiskies that express the individuality of both distillery and cask. Distilled in 2011 and finished in an Oloroso sherry cask, this limited release showcases the rich, refined character that has made Longmorn one of Speyside's most respected distilleries.

Produced near Elgin, Longmorn has long been celebrated for its smooth, complex spirit and beautifully layered fruit character. The Oloroso influence enhances these qualities, creating a whisky that evokes the classic style of richly sherried Scotch.

Bottled at 49.9% ABV, the nose offers polished antique wood, figs, Medjool dates, and hints of old Armagnac, lifted by a touch of orange oil. The palate unfolds with layers of dark fruit compote, cocoa powder, and well-seasoned oak, delivering richness and depth while maintaining impressive balance.

With only 125 bottles produced, this is an exceptionally rare single cask release and a superb example of Longmorn's renowned Speyside character.
