Ledaig (Tobermory) Gleann Mor Rare Find Single Cask #6991

This exceptional Ledaig 12 Year Old was distilled in 2011 at Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull and bottled by Gleann Mór Spirits as part of its acclaimed Rare Find single cask series. Showcasing the distillery's heavily peated spirit, this limited release captures the rugged maritime character for which Ledaig is renowned.

Fully matured in a 250-litre refill American oak hogshead, cask #6991, the whisky spent 12 years developing a beautifully balanced combination of coastal smoke, sweet fruit, and warming spice. Bottled in 2024 at its natural cask strength of 56.5% ABV, it delivers an authentic and unfiltered snapshot of the cask's unique character.

The nose opens with waves of peat smoke, pine needles, and a touch of aniseed. On the palate, rich barbecue smoke is complemented by orange peel, menthol, and surprising notes of fresh strawberries. The finish is long and satisfying, with red berries, lingering peat smoke, and warming spice.

With only 345 bottles produced worldwide, this is a highly collectible single cask release that perfectly showcases the distinctive peated style of Ledaig.
