A distinctive peated single malt from the Isle of Raasay’s Na Sia Single Cask Series, matured for five years in a single Bordeaux red wine cask sourced fresh from a château in South West France. Part of a trio of peated releases, this expression showcases the powerful influence of wine cask maturation.
The cask, stained red on the outside, imparts a naturally deep ruby hue to the whisky along with rich, fruity character. Expect layers of dried fruits and classic Christmas cake sweetness, balanced by earthy peat smoke. Bottled at cask strength, non-chill-filtered, this is a bold and characterful island dram.
