Islay 14 Year Old – Spiritualist Series “Balance” is the inaugural release in Douglas Laing’s Old Particular Spiritualist Series, following on from the acclaimed Elements Collection. Distilled in November 2005 at an undisclosed Islay distillery, this single malt was matured for 14 years in a refill hogshead.
Bottled in April 2020 at natural cask strength, the release was limited to just 325 bottles. Named “Balance,” this expression lives up to its title, offering a harmonious interplay of coastal character, smoky depth and refined cask influence.
A limited and intriguingly mysterious Islay single malt from Douglas Laing’s celebrated Old Particular range.
