A first-fill, sherry-seasoned, American oak butt laid down in 1998 and left to mature for 20 years, in Warehouse 12 at Highland Park Kirkwall distillery.
Bottled in 2019 at 57.9% ABV, it’s a warm and spicy single malt revealing notes of sweet pastry, a dusting of aromatic spices and tangy lemon zest, wrapped in a cloud of gentle peat smoke.
