The fourth instalment in Highland Park’s Cask Strength series, showcasing the distillery’s distinctive Orkney character at full natural strength.
This expression matured for 14 years in a carefully selected combination of casks, predominantly first-fill sherry-seasoned European and American oak, complemented by smaller quantities of refill, ex-bourbon and ex-Port casks. The varied maturation adds layers of richness and complexity to Highland Park’s signature lightly smoky style.
On the nose and palate, the whisky reveals a delightful Turkish delight character, accompanied by the distillery’s trademark sooty peat smoke. Flavours of coconut, rose and raspberry bring a floral sweetness, balanced by rich fruit and spice from the sherry casks.
Bottled at a powerful cask strength of 64.3% ABV, this release offers a bold and expressive take on Highland Park’s classic flavour profile.
