Bottled at the strength it flows from the cask, Glengoyne Cask Strength Batch 009 is an unapologetically natural single malt, un-chillfiltered, unfussed, and untamed. This is Glengoyne in its most honest form, the closest you’ll come to drawing a dram straight from the warehouse.

In the glass, a deep amber gold hints at the richness to come. The nose opens with baked lemon and zesty apple, followed by sticky toffee pudding, malt biscuits, plum, and hazelnut, delivering depth without heaviness. On the palate, a weighty mouthful of rich vanilla and fresh orchard fruits evolves into poached pears, warming cinnamon spice, and a gentle drizzle of honey. The finish is long, warming, and deeply rewarding, lingering with Medjool dates, apricot, toffee, and soft honeyed sweetness.

Batch 009 is crafted from a carefully balanced cask recipe: one third first-fill Oloroso sherry casks, two thirds refill casks, with a subtle influence from bourbon barrels, bringing structure, fruit, and spice into perfect harmony.
