Glenfarclas 12 Year Old is a classic Speyside single malt with a richly sherried, fruit-forward profile, originally bottled for export and travel retail markets. Made at the foot of Ben Rinnes since 1836, this family-owned distillery has been run by the Grant family since 1865 and still champions traditional craft, including direct-fired stills and long maturation in exceptional Spanish Oloroso sherry casks.
Named from the Gaelic for “Valley of the Green Grass,” Glenfarclas captures its lush Highland surroundings in a whisky that’s both welcoming and characterful. Expect balanced notes of dried fruits, toffee and gentle spice, followed by a smooth, lingering finish of raisins, soft vanilla and subtle oak. Celebrated on the world stage, named “Best Sherried Whisky” at the Single Malt World Cup (2006) and awarded Gold at the Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival (2007 and 2008), Glenfarclas 12 is a standout introduction to sherry-cask-matured Scotch.
