Glendronach 1993 30 Year Old - Single Cask (Cask#6753)

Glendronach 1993 30 Year Old Cask #6753 is an exceptional Highland single malt and one of the final releases in the distillery’s renowned Single Cask Bottling series. Personally selected by Master Blender Rachel Barrie, this rare whisky was distilled on 11th June 1993 and matured exclusively in a single Pedro Ximénez sherry butt for 30 years before being bottled in 2023 at its natural cask strength of 52.8% ABV.

Three decades of maturation have created a whisky of remarkable richness and complexity. Aromas of sherry-soaked bramble fruits, sultanas, candied orange, chocolate praline, and Morello cherry fruitcake lead into a palate of dark stewed fruits, Black Forest gâteau, leather, tobacco leaf, and polished oak. The finish is long and elegant, with lingering notes of molasses, dried fruit, warming spice, and balanced tannins.

Bottled without chill filtration and with colour derived entirely from the cask, this release is a superb showcase of Glendronach’s legendary sherry cask maturation.

With only 595 bottles released worldwide, this highly collectible single cask whisky is a stunning example of mature Glendronach at its finest.
