Bunnahabhain 12 Year Old is a beautifully balanced Islay single malt and the celebrated flagship expression from Bunnahabhain Distillery. Originally introduced in 1979, this distinctive whisky offers a wonderfully different interpretation of Islay's traditional character, combining rich fruit, gentle sweetness and subtle coastal influences without the heavy peat smoke typically associated with the island.

Matured for 12 years in a carefully selected combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks, Bunnahabhain develops a rich, rounded character with notes of dried fruit, toasted nuts, creamy vanilla and fresh citrus. Gentle oak spice and a delicate hint of sea salt add further complexity, creating a harmonious balance between sherry sweetness and the distillery's unmistakable maritime character.

Following its relaunch in 2010, Bunnahabhain 12 Year Old has been bottled at a generous 46.3% ABV, non-chill filtered and at natural colour, preserving the whisky's full flavour and texture. Its traditionally unpeated style, combined with rich sherry influence and coastal freshness, makes it an excellent choice for both newcomers to single malt whisky and experienced Islay enthusiasts.
