Bunnahabhain 2010 11 Year Old is a rare and limited single cask Islay single malt, bottled by independent specialists Lady of the Glen (Hannah Whisky Merchants). Distilled on 5th March 2010 at Islay’s most northerly distillery, this expression was fully matured for 11 years in a first-fill Oloroso sherry butt (#554/983) before being bottled on 18th May 2021.
Bottled at a natural cask strength of 58.9% ABV, this release is presented in its purest form, with an outturn of just 213 bottles, making it a highly collectible and characterful dram.
Despite its full sherry maturation, the cask influence remains well-balanced, allowing Bunnahabhain’s signature unpeated style to shine through. The profile delivers notes of orange zest, toasted almonds, and festive spices, supported by a rich, nutty depth and an intense, lingering finish.
