Benrinnes 1996 25 Year Old - Celebration of the Cask (Càrn Mòr)

Distilled on 24 October 1996, this exceptional 25-year-old Benrinnes was independently bottled by Càrn Mòr as part of its prestigious Celebration of the Cask series. Matured exclusively in a single sherry butt and bottled in 2021 at its natural cask strength of 53% ABV, this limited release showcases the rich, robust character for which Benrinnes is renowned.

The long maturation has produced a beautifully deep ruby hue and a luxurious, full-bodied profile. Rich notes of sultanas, dried fruits, dark toffee, and roasted nuts are complemented by warming Christmas spices, polished oak, and a touch of dark chocolate, leading to an elegant, lingering finish with remarkable depth and balance.

With an outturn of just 482 bottles, this rare single cask release is a superb example of mature sherried Speyside whisky and a standout addition for collectors and lovers of well-aged single malts.
