Ardbeg Wee Beastie 5 Year Old is a youthful and intensely peated Islay single malt, created to showcase Ardbeg’s famously smoky character in a particularly bold and untamed form. Matured for five years in a combination of ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, its relative youth allows the distillery’s powerful spirit and peat smoke to remain firmly at the forefront.

Rich smoke and maritime character are joined by notes of dark chocolate, cracked black pepper and smoked bacon, with hints of vanilla, green apple, aniseed and herbal freshness adding complexity. The sherry cask influence provides additional richness and sweetness without overpowering the whisky’s robust peaty style.
