Akashi Blue Blended

Akashi Blue Blended is a smooth and distinctive Japanese whisky produced at the Eigashima Shuzo White Oak Distillery, one of Japan’s oldest whisky producers. This refined blend is matured in shochu-seasoned American white oak casks before being finished in sherry and bourbon casks, creating a layered and approachable flavour profile.

Crafted by a Toji — a grand master of traditional sake making — Akashi whisky uniquely incorporates sake-making techniques into the whisky production process. The distillery’s smaller copper pot stills produce a lighter and more delicate spirit with lower levels of fusel alcohol, resulting in exceptional smoothness even at a younger age.

The whisky delivers gentle notes of vanilla, soft oak, dried fruit, and subtle sweetness, balanced by a clean and elegant finish.
