Aged for 14 years in a Chinquapin oak barrel (#4952), this expression is bottled at a powerful cask strength of 61.6% ABV. Presented non-chill filtered and with natural colour, it offers a full and unaltered representation of the spirit and cask interaction. With just 285 bottles produced, it is a highly limited release.
Chinquapin oak, native to the United States, is known for imparting a distinctive character. Here, it delivers a bold profile of deep sweetness, pronounced spice, and a subtle herbal edge, creating a complex and memorable dram.
