The Macallan Edition No. 6 is the sixth and final release in the celebrated Edition Series, inspired by the natural beauty of The Macallan Estate and the legendary River Spey. Created by Macallan Whisky Maker Steven Bremner, this limited edition celebrates the deep connection between the distillery, its surrounding landscape, and the iconic river that has shaped its whisky-making heritage.
Edition No. 6 is crafted from five carefully selected American and European oak cask types, chosen to create exceptional depth and complexity. The result is a rich, multifaceted single malt with layers of dried fruits, fresh spice, oak, and sweet toffee, complemented by a deep natural brass colour and a long, rewarding finish.
The release also highlights The Macallan's partnership with the Atlantic Salmon Trust, supporting the conservation of the endangered wild Atlantic salmon that inhabit the River Spey and helping to protect the unique ecosystem surrounding the estate.
