Bowmore 25 Year Old 1997 Rare Find - Gleann Mor

An exceptional Islay single malt from Bowmore, independently bottled by Gleann Mór Spirits Co. as part of the Rare Find series and specially selected by Greg Urquhart.

Distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2023, this whisky matured for 25 years before receiving a finishing period in a second-fill sherry hogshead (cask #90021014). The cask influence adds layers of rich fruit and gentle spice, complementing Bowmore’s signature balance of coastal character and refined smoke.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 53.1% ABV, and presented with natural colour and no chill filtration, this single cask release highlights the depth and elegance that long maturation can bring to Bowmore’s distinctive Islay spirit.

Just 285 bottles were produced, making this a rare and highly collectible example from Islay’s first licensed distillery, where traditional whisky-making methods have been honoured since 1779.
