'Port Charlotte' is the name used by Bruichladdich when creating well-peated whiskies, so expect a smoky treat here. It was distilled in July 2003 and left to age in an ex-Bordeaux wine cask until November 2017, when it was bottle by Skene with an outturn of 90 bottles.
Nose: White oak, plum, cherry and a beach BBQ.
Palate: Juicy plum, wood smoke and a hint of nut oil.
Finish: Dry with spicy smoke.
