The Ace of Spade's bottling is the fourth and final planned release within the Old Particular Consortium of Cards series, which launched in 2017. The expression rounds off the Consortium of Cards collection, which consists of three other bottlings: Queen of the Hebrides, an 18-year-old Laphroaig; King of the Hills, a 20-year-old Ben Nevis; and Crackerjack, a 28-year-old single cask Port Dundas. Nose: Cinnamon- macerated plums, stewed pears and a hint of meaty malt. Palate: Rich fruits, oily walnuts. Finish: Chocolate orange peel and lingering toasted barley.
