DESCRIPTION

For 2016 that is an 11-year-old single malt with a triple sherry cask finish, being Fino, Amoroso and Apostoles. Non-chill-filtered and bottled at a natural strength of 51% abv, this limited edition bottling from the Jura Distillery is released to mark the two-day celebration of whisky on the Isle of Jura. Nose: Oranges, zest included, sweet and sour on grapefruit, but also baked apples and butterscotch. Hot creamy caramel, some kiwi and pineapple. Palate: Baked apple segments dusted with Demerara sugar and cinnamon, kiwi fruits and hot mulled wine. Finish: Sweet, sour and salty with grilled pineapple at the death.
