This particular bottling was initially aged in bourbon casks before being moved over to Pedro Ximenéz for up to two years. The PX Sherry Wood Finish bottling is every bit as toothsome as you’d expect, combining elemental fruit and port wood freshness.
Nose: Loaded with creamy vanilla sponge cake drenched in honey and hot warm chocolate sauce.
Palate: A dusting of vanilla-infused Demerara sugar over pear tarte Tatin Chocolate buttons, brown sugar and juicy apricot.
Finish: Toffee Pudding and blueberries.
