Distilled in July 2004 and bottled 12 years later, this expression spent its maturation life in a refill barrel and is both non-chill filtered and presented at natural colour. This 2004 Port Dundas is a single cask bottling for Douglas Laing's Old Particular range of whisky. Nose: A Refreshing burst of sweet toffee, white chocolate mice and Custard Cream biscuits, green apples and pecans. Palate: Bruleed sugar overripe blueberries with drizzled honey, hedgerow berries and custard doughnuts. Finish: Very sweet with more citric qualities coming through, then lightly burnt toast.
