Only 120 bottles of this edition exist. Each bottle has been hand-signed and numbered by Chris Leggat, Chief Executive of Douglas Laing & Co. Offered proudly at a natural Cask Strength of 42.4% ABV, this expression is presented exactly as the Distiller intended: without added colour or chill-filtration.
On the nose, milk chocolate biscuits develop to creamy cereal, dried apricots and honeycomb. The palate brings marzipan initially followed by melted butter, caramel, almonds and a sweet spiciness. The finish is long with freshly ground nutmeg, vanilla poached pears and mature oak.
