Bold, not brash, complex but not too complex, this is a rounded whisky that is smooth around the edges and mature in its make-up, with a wonderfully aromatic nose,and dried fruit, chocolate character and sweetness.
At 52% ABV, it is a sophisticated evolution, matured in the finest, bespoke Oloroso, PX, and red wine casks, comprising Spanish and American oak.
The nose is perfumed and fruity, with polished oak, red apples, chocolate, and hints of Devonshire cream leading to Pecan and walnut baklava, baking spices, candied papaya, and hints of coffee, with a vibrant and creamy finish with toasted brown sugar.
