Named after the founder of the Nikka distillery, Masataka Taketsuru, Nikka Taketsuru 17 Year Old is another winner from Nikka's Taketsuru range. Nikka's Taketsuru 17 Year Old was named World’s Best Blended Malt Whisky at the 2014 World Whisky Awards. Nose: Rich oak and leather, berries, with a touch of dried fruits and spices. Palate: Meaty with a strong kick of spice and oak, blood orange and a little chocolate. Finish: Vanilla, slightly bittersweet, oak, fruit and cocoa.
